Free Fatty Friday!

Yeah, the restaurant and bar is closed, BUT we miss you (and you make our lives more interesting)! So we get to see you all (or hopefully at least a few of you), we’re doing a thing. Free Fatty Friday!

Here’s the deal: Every Friday in May, we are going to roll up somewhere and give out free fatties. This Friday, May 29, at 5 o’clock, our last Free Fatty Friday, we’ll be rolling right back here at home in beautiful downtown Kingfield, Maine.

Here’s the catch: The May 1 Fatties were on us. The May 8th Fatties in The Forks were free thanks to the generosity of Kingfielders, Mainers, and our Fatty Friends across the United States paying those fatties forward. The May 15th Fatties in Carrabassett Valley were free thanks to the trail builders in The Forks, the Friday, May 22nd Fatties were free thanks to the people who were able to pay it forward in Carrabassett Valley, and this final Friday in May, we’ll be rolling right here at home and the fatties will be free again thanks to the fine folks of Skowhegan and Lake George Regional Park. This week, if you choose to pay it forward, proceeds will go toward our 1% for the Planet fund. This year, as in years past, we are funding trail development in the area. The more intentional acts of kindness, the more trails we build! Just to be clear–buying a Pay It Forward Fatty does not guarantee that you yourself will get a free fatty. It does guarantee you are making someone else’s day a little brighter. Also, the Pay It Forward Fatty is whatever we decide to make and is limited to one per person. There are no choices and no options. You drive up to the food truck, we smile, say hey, and cheerfully hand you a fatty, and you drive away. So easy, so fun! Yahoo! It’s our hope that together, we can give a dose of healthy food and happiness to our Fatty friends, and build more trails for us all to enjoy!
