Rolling Fatties will be right there, serving up local food, creating a buzz, doing what we do. Along with Fatties, specials, and sides, we’re adding our handmade tortillas to the menu, so you can pick up a few to roll your own at home. You probably know this by now, but our tortillas are hand made with lard we render ourselves and Maine Grains sifted wheat flour which comes from Maine farmers and is milled at the Maine Grains Grist Mill in Skowhegan. You can also get coconut tortillas if you’re a vegetarian (or you just prefer the delightful coconut flavor) which simply replaces the lard with organic coconut oil.
Saturday morning is town meeting here in Kingfield, and there’s some important stuff to vote on, namely the road reconstruction proposed for down town. A vote to approve would give the town sidewalks and bike lanes the entire length of town. How amazing would that be? No doubt you’ll need a Fatty after taking care of business.
Rolling Fatties has commercial space for rent at 268 Main Street in Kingfield. We are looking for another business to jump in on our action and take over the front of the property. The space would work well for offices or retail space. It is comfortable and open, has tons of natural light, needs nothing but a fresh coat of paint (to suit your business). It has a bathroom with a shower, a big entry way, a view of the river, it’s right on rt. 27, and will be right on Kingfield’s Village Green. Stop by 268 Main Street or give us a ring at 207-399-9246 to take a look. We’ll be having an open house soon!
Thursday-Sunday we’ll be rolling from 11:30-8 and the patio and lawn here is a pretty sick place to hang out. We’ve got a frisbee, a soccer ball, a football, and a dog for you to play with! Ride your bike or walk over to get a Fatty and Rob Mac will give you a Rolling Fatties sticker for saving the gas and getting your blood pumpin’. Hope to see you soon!
